or "de plane Boss, de plane". They do not care who shot J. R. and have no

i remember all of these. =(

i remember watching it as if it were yesterday.[*]the CD may have been introduced in '83,
but it wasn't mainstream until way later.
i remember the first time i saw one. it was
on a commercial for some brand of sound media.
i thought it was strange and went talking
about it to all my buddies at school.[*]i remember when 'cable' was those shitty
box things that had about 30 channels...
i even remember the placement of the channels
on the box *blushes*[*]microwave?!?!? wtf about VCRs??? i remember
when those hit big too... jesus christ!
you couldn't exactly buy movies to watch...
not like now. most people just bought blank
tapes and recorded from the sunday night movies on ABC[*]i remember my great-grandmother getting
glass contacts... back when they hit big.
i would always freak out when she'd put
them in cuz its like.........FUCKING GLASS!!![*]omg... i used to watch all those shows...
not willingly, of course. my mom was the
big DALLAS/FALCON CREST watcher... *rolls eyes*
what girl didn't wanna grow up and marry a ewing????[*]i remember when mcdonalds happy meals came
in those shitty UFO containers. the 'toy'
was the container and you got a set of
stickers to decorate it with. gawd it sucked.

The entire thing was completely begging the question and argumentative.

Bottle caps have always been screw off and plastic! --is this why people STILL have bottle openers? because they've ALWAYS been screw off? no.

Bullshit. not everyone has an answering machine... not everyone has cable.... and there's a lot of people who don't watch tv. thus no need for a remote control...

my main point for all this is just that.. e-mails, or whatever... like this... get sent around... it makes people go.. "awwwww... i remember that.... that's cute" and they forward it, when in reality, it's just stupid bullshit and none of it's true.. and you shouldn't waste peoples time, especially by posting shit like this for people to waste time reading.

i never watched the 'tonight show'.
though remember seeing JC in passing stations.

as for typewriters...
i remember mentioning to SOMEone that one of my
favorite xmas gifts i've ever received was an
electronic typewriter given to me by my mom.
that same SOMEone asked me if it had a processor.
i laughed.

and as for JAWS...

i remember when it was a big deal to see movies
3D on the television. one movie in particular
was called KING KONG AT LARGE... and places all
over were selling or giving the glasses away.
it was a major national event (the movie was B&W).
and i remember they had like this 30 minute intro
on how technically advanced this was. they had
a moment where they were showing you the effects
of 3D tv. they had a woman in a bathing suit with
a chinese yo-yo... tossing it to the screen...
it was so lame. =P
